I am amazed and very pleased with the growth of our organization,
I never dreamed that when the small group of us decided to form this
organization that it would be as large and as widely known through
out the country as it is today. It has been a Great Honor to represent
SCVR and all its members.
We must never give up on fighting for our Rights as motorcyclists
I look forward to hopefully representing all of you for another year.

Dave VanderSchaaf
My name is David VanderSchaaf and I have been an active member of
SCVR since 2005. I have had the opportunity and the privaledge to be
able to attend Biker Day at the capitol for the past two years, where
I spoke with my representatives in regard to issues that are concerns
for biker rights. I have been a motorcycle rider on and off for the
last 20 years, but surrounded by them my whole life. My current ride
is a 2006 Road King, which is a continuous project of adding new chrome.
I have a Hog membership, a recent renewed membership with Abate of
MN, but I proudly refer myself as a SCVR member. Last year I had the
opportunity to take the experienced rider course, it was a great learning
experience. The information I received during the riders course provided
useful tools that I was able to apply within my current career. I am
employed for a large shipping company and train truck drivers within
my district, continuously keeping them educated on current safety procedures.
I strongly believe that our members voice needs to be heard, expressed
and represented. We need to continue to enjoy our passion of riding,
prepare to fight and protect our freedoms and make ourselves known
and taken seriously. If given the opportunity to be one the Directors
at Large I would continue to meet more of our members, listen to their
opinions and suggestions and proudly be their voice on the Board of
Directors.
